First of all im new to the site and im enjoying all the videos so far but there are so many that it is overwhelming. A quick intro I cant say im totally new to mma or kickboxing since ive been training for about 4 months and I spar light mostly and sometimes hard, It started out as something to do just for fun then it turned to a hobby which is a good way to vent off stress and bond with my son since he also does muay thai. We used to train daily in the evening but now my schedule wont allow me to so we only train 3x a week now mwf in the evening and sometimes Saturday. As for the moment our training schedule is
Me
5am Jog, warmups and SNC in the gym (hitting weights doing strength and explosives training and abs) in the morning
Train in the other gym 1hour and 30min of Muay Thai and 1hour No-gi in the evening. (we skip the 30min condition muay thai mostly ab works so I can attend the No-gi)
My son
5am Jog, warmups, shadow boxing in the morning
Train in the gym 2 hours of Muay Thai.
I was thinking of adding some drills or workout before I do my SNC in the morning to supplement the days im not in the gym so I wont fall behind and also for my son to go along with his morning routine before school. We both want to improve our footwork and head movement since compare to kickboxers in the gym our footwork and head movement seems kind of sluggish, our muay thai style doesnt involve lots of movements to be honest it works but we wanna explore and improve. We want to improve out foot speed and if we can our fight IQ as well. Also we want to improve our defense.
So I was wondering is there any road map or order of videos we can watch or follow as part of our morning training? If someone can recommend a morning routine to add to our workout that would be great Thank you all.
